Introducing the Deadlift Deadener

Hi there,

Just a quick newsletter to let you know about a new Gym Professor product, the Deadlift Deadener. In short, it's a pair of rubber arch bridges that serves to cushion a deadlift between reps and forms a reverse-arc around the weight plates; this massively reduces the impact by increasing the surface area over both the weight plate/s (around 35 times greater) and the floor (around 50 times greater). Therefore, bars, weights and your gym floor will last much longer without damage.

As a by-product, it can also help you become more proficient at the deadlift by avoiding any misalignment in the lift and practising that perfect straight vertical bar line; this was something highlighted to me by Eddie Hall. I contacted Eddie a couple of months back and introduced the Deadlift Deadener to him, he could see the benefits straight away and pointed out some technical benefits to the deadlift that I hadn't even really considered, and I'd been using it for months already.

Anyway, here's the man himself to show you...

...check out Eddie's video on Facebook, as he offers some great deadlift advise and it heavily features the Deadlift Deadener within his training:

Struggling with deadlift technique? Stuck at a weight and can't progress?THE DEADLIFT DEADENER Correct techniques by implying a straight line technique letting you know if your technique needs adjusting and also great for reps, use it as a cushion to protect floors, weights and your back. Cutting out the shitty rubber pads/mats found leaning against a wall in the back of the gym. Get these deadlift deadeners to do things properly.Watch the video for a full demo. Big and small pads available!Available from:-www.DeadliftDeadener.co.uk and www.TheGymRevolution.co.uk And visit and follow the gym professor on FB page:-http://www.facebook.com/GymProfessorFor awesome tips and techniques on loads of gym exercises.RegardsThe Beast

Gym Professor Newsletter July 2015

Hello,

Since our last newsletter, we have 4 all-new exercise articles for you; 3 of them include a video demonstration and workout tips. Here you go:

Reverse-Grip Pull-Ups
The training short-cut to hitting the back and biceps. We take a look at this multi-lever/ multi-muscle exercise and provide some helpful technique tips to work the back and bi's to the max.

Lever Low-W-Press
My modern-day homage to a weight training classic - a W-Press performed in a landmine. This is a great variation and when used in the suggested superset really hits the entire shoulder complex.

Farmer's Walk
One of the simplest of exercises to perform and yet it certainly doesn't get any easier. Check out this article on the modern-day classic that is Farmer's Walk.

Drag Curls
Almost every guy in the gym performing half-a-dozen exercises for biceps, but I never see this one: Drag Curls: and it's one of the best. Look better in a tee and feel the burn, with Drag Curls.

Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube Channel and 'Get Notifications' on our Facebook, as there's lots of helpful hints and video reviews that we post that never make it to the newsletter. Please find the links in the footer.

Cheers, and may your training be happy and successful!

Matt @ Gym Professor

P.S. Please share our free resources with your friends and check out our inventions and stores which serve to support these resources. Cheers :)

What you’ve missed: Globe Gripz, New Exercises, New Articles, App Re-Launch, Strength to Strength

Hi,

Sorry that you haven’t received a newsletter in a while. Unfortunately, our method of sending our newsletter (via Google Feedburner) was discontinued rather abruptly by Google. Therefore, this email is being sent to you direct. Lots of companies were hit by the Feedburner discontinuation, so you may’ve noticed updates from other blogs or newsletters have stopped too. Some of you may even be receiving the Gym Professor Newsletter for the first time, as there appears to be many subscribers (mainly with yahoo accounts) that have not completed their set-up (probably because the confirmation email had gone into your spam box).

Anyway, here’s some of what you may have missed over the past couple of months...

Globe Gripz.

An evolution in weight training is on it's way!
Does it ever strike you that there are no really "interesting" new fitness products on the market these days? We've noticed too and it's exactly why we've been busy inventing in the Gym Professor lab (gym!). An “evolution in weight training” is on its way. Being a newsletter subscriber, you'll be one of the first to find out about it :)

New Gym Professor Logo/s

Hello,

Last month, within my 'Projects in the Pipeline' Newsletter, I mentioned that I'd received numerous merchandise requests from readers for gym clothing and general apparel branded with ‘Gym Professor’. A request I was very eager to oblige.

Since the site’s infancy though, we’ve used a generic Ariel typeface as a logo, which has been copied elsewhere, therefore, before we put our name to such gym apparel, I wanted to create a logo and branding a little more unique. This way, I help to create an identity for our resource and you get to wear some awesome looking clothing down the gym :D. Well, you can’t get any more unique than this, as I’m the silhouette (LOL).

I hope you like what we’ve come up with! Please feel free to reply with your comments by email, or post a comment on our Facebook Fan Page. You’ll also find our great looking female friendly versions amongst our logo photo album on the Fan Page.

I hope to see you sporting the Gym Professor Logo down your gym soon. As soon as we have our clothing branded, I’ll be sending out another newsletter advising the availability.
All the best,

GP
